This is the first Zoya I bought. The holographic is pretty apparent without a topcoat(it shines with one, though). I do know it says to use no base coat, but this sucker is a pain to remove, so I would use a peelable base coat. (Sometimes I pick it off instead and then remove the residue with remover when I forget to).
