Gelie-Cure Foundation Travel kit + Mini LED

about an hour ago, i used the "Gelie-Cure Foundation Travel kit + Mini LED" kit for the first time. i followed the instructions to the letter. and got a high-gloss finish that looked more or less like i thought it would? But it is peeling off like the Tinkerbell peel-off nail polish i had as a small child. with no effort, the polish peels off in strips.

I’ve used this kit three times so far, as directed, and all I can say is I’m not super impressed with the wear, and not sure it’s worth the cost. The first use I found a lot of chipping g and peeling of the product itself, but I’ve gotten a little better with my application technique each time so there’s a little improvement. But Each time I’ve used it with a Zoya polish on top, the polish doesn’t seem to wear any better than if I had skipped the gelie treatment base. I get about 4 days of wear with Zoya polishes, and that’s using two thin coats with proper daytime between coats. I truly expected better results with this. When I decide to change my color, it seems as if some of gelie base comes off too. So I’m not sold on this product yet, but not giving up entirely. I will say that I’m tired of Zoya’s colors looking entirely different in photos than in person. I may be switching Ella+Mila.

I have been a loyal Zoya fan for the last 10 years- the Gelie Cure system did not disappoint! I have a lot of issues with peeling nails, and this system is amazing at protecting my nails. They definitely feel stronger, and the color lasts much longer chip-free than normal wearing nail polish.
My GelieCure lasted 7days with heavy wear (and 1 color change in between!). I`m a healthcare professional, working heavily with my hands/nails and using hand sanitizer often (which, I`ve found, can often shorten the lifetime of manis). The 7-day wear time has already far exceeded any salon gels that I`ve done in the past (and that was with babying the mani by not using hand sanitizer!)
There is a little learning curve- make sure that when you`re painting the GelieCure clear coat, to wipe off a majority off the brush, and consider curing per each nail. I painted all the nails and by the time I`d rotated my hands, I hadn`t realized or felt that the excess had actually spilled over around my finger and I had to clean it all up before curing.
The removal is also super easy, just wrap in foil and it wiggles off with Remove+! No more peeling nails, no damaged nails, no more staining! I will definitely use GelieCure over going to the salon, for the price of this set is already 2-3 salon visits and is totally worth the money to do this at home by yourself.

Mani`s are my happy hobby but I have never been interested in doing the gel thing... don`t want the damage that comes with traditional gel or the harsh chemicals. I thought I would give this a system a shot and am soooo glad that I did! It was simple to do, I had success the very first try. I love that products are kind to the nails and really gives me that gel look. This system is amazing, it works exactly as it says. Easy to remove and lasted! I also love that all of the products do not have any strong smells! Even the remover is a must have! I am considering moving up to pro LED lamp (if a great promo comes up.) I have also purchased (and recommend) a full Naked Mani set and some extra supplies, they must be Gelie-Cure!!! I`m beyond thrilled with the entire system and it has taken a front spot on my home mani station! Thank you Zoya, Geli-cure is truly a home run!!! If you`re on the fence, maybe not wanting the harsh damaging traditional gels than this is for you!! It`s a healing restorative treatment that gives you that salon mani durability!

I am using zoya products from last 5years and I have almost 300+ polishes from Zoya. But after using this system with Zoya glossy seal top coat, the nail polish got chipped within a day. I am following the process exactly as per your manual and your videos.so much disappointed.

The varnish is good and seems pretty durable so far. Not as good as a full gel, but I think pretty good none the less. The travel light was a waste of money though. It turned on twice and has not turned on since. It`s sad that without the light the whole system doesn`t work.

I’ve long wanted to try gel manicures at home but just couldn’t embrace the nail bed prep with all that filing. I was cautiously hopeful about this kit when I purchased it, but all concerns have been alleviated.
Easy application, good wear time on my first application of one single coat and no other polish. And easy removal, just as stated in the instruction. Love the portability of the travel LED lamp as well!
I’m completely sold.
